该剧讲述了明末清初时期，江湖义士带领一众天地会遗孤，为躲避朝廷逆贼追杀四处逃亡的故事。。年过五旬的吴小妹对小女儿陈婷管教严厉, 两人难以和平相处。而大女儿潇多年居住海外，也与她形同陌路。另有性情乖戾的母亲英秀，吴小妹隐忍至今。一次英秀的意外受伤，掀开了家族尘封多年的秘密。吴小妹挥之不去的童年梦魇、英秀的古怪、女儿们的疏离，皆事出有因。就在吴小妹步步走进母亲英秀不为人知的内心世界，她似乎也寻找到了影响三代女人的情感症结……。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
