season1の最終回で、鷹野は師団坂法律事務所から姿を消した。season2ではその3カ月後、事務所創設者の娘である佐伯芽依が彼を呼び戻す。その頃、ルーム1所属の元判事・桐生実雪のもとに、判事時代に無期懲役の判決を下した被告人から再審請求の依頼が舞い込む。ハードルの高い再審請求に立ち向かおうとする桐生に、鷹野が手を貸すことに。一方、元ニートの弁護士・杉村徹平は、趣味で参加したゲームのオフ会で謎の女性と出会う。。A psychotic man likes to hunt down young women, then kill them and sell their organs.
