由武汉电视台和武汉电视艺术中心联合摄制的6集电视连续剧《冼夫人》,再现了被誉为‘南天一柱”的我国黎族先辈洗英的主要业绩。。新年伊始，作为市重点扶贫对象的梨花村迎来了新一任的扶贫工作组。带队的李渠是市委宣传部副部长，此次主动请缨到梨花村驻村扶贫，李渠立下了军令状。
梨花村全村三百多户、千把口子人，人均年收入还不到两千元，只能勉强温饱。位置偏僻，交通闭塞，人多地少，无特色资源，村民文化素质偏低……换言之，梨花村就是“一穷二白三不靠”的典型贫困山区。
