When a fellow trustee is poisoned just prior to his making some kind of rev...。该片讲述的是一个地地道道的陕西老汉通过个人魅力与朴实性格改变了一个家庭的矛盾，最后一家人和睦相处，相亲相爱的故事。。故事发生在清朝咸丰年间，天津才子刘保山（夏雨 饰）名冠京华，学识渊博，更是一个嫉恶如仇、狷介耿直的堂堂君子，却也因此冲撞惹恼巡城御史路登高（梁冠华 饰）和六王爷（修宗迪 饰）。不愿掉入酱缸官场的刘保山逃名市井，并和普通人家的女孩秀姑（朱媛媛 饰）互生爱意，而六王爷家的五格格（胡可 饰）同时也对保山一往情深。几番周折，对仕途灰心丧气的刘保山投身梨园，堂堂状元郎竟然做起下九流的戏子，一时间轰动京城。他借唱戏大骂路登高等人，自然给自己惹来新的麻烦，却也由此谱写了梨园界“天下第一丑”的传奇……。
