本片最有意思的是描写了一个孩子丰富的世界，很多地方让人不禁捧腹，又想到我们小时候。拉尔夫的独白是一位成年男子的声音，同样也有意思。。大炎国皇长子萧长策本应被封太子，却因琪贵妃迫害变得痴傻，琪贵妃为了斩草除根派第一杀手谋害萧长策，却阴差阳错让二十一世纪的工程师穿越在他身上。不再痴傻的萧长策决定报仇，利用高级工程师的身份将先进的技术带到大炎国收复了失地，将城市建设的繁华安定。
