为了后述的全金动画第4作『Invisible Victory』，由千明导演担任总指挥，使用2010年代下的最新技术对第1期动画进行了改进，自2017年11月起，以『TV动画「全金属狂潮！」导演剪辑版』为题的三部曲总集篇在两处东京·一处大阪的影院进行了各自为期一周的期间限定上映。Nesting Dolls is a psychological thriller about the darker sides of us that can lie just beneath the surface.
