李海宁（隋棠 饰）是大国民出版社的总编辑，而她的男友成皓（黄志玮 饰）则是一名作家，两人交往九年，彼此之间的关系早已经由浓转淡，进入了疲劳阶段。李海宁决定跳槽，自然而然地带走了成皓，然而，来到新出版社的两人前景却并不乐观，很快，成皓的作品开始滞销。
