电影版的舞台是美知夫离开一系的2年后。被调到冈山县濑户内的美知夫，开始负责与史上最年轻防卫大臣有关的伤害事件。在调查事件背景——宙斯盾舰相撞事故时，由于航海内容是国家机密，传家宝刀“职权发动”无法使用。另一方面，千鹤在法官其他职位的经验制度下成为律师，在美知雄的邻町负责当地大企业的案件。在这两个看似截然不同的事件之间，隐藏的真相逐渐浮出水面。。George Harvey Bone is a composer in early 20th century London, who is under stress because he is writing a piano concerto. Due to this stress, he gets black outs when ever he hears dissonances. When he finds himself after the black out in a different quarter of the town, he returns home, to read in the paper that somebody in that quarter was murdered.
