《山海之机巧蒜泥》是一部集玄幻、喜剧、爱情、幽默多重元素为一体的多元化电影，故事取材自山海神话架空的玄幻世界。电影讲述了少年蒜泥虽身为妖却没有一丝妖力，立志带着全村过上好日子的他踏上了寻找妖力的旅程。在旅途中，他结识了女扮男装失败的“少侠”若水，一人一妖打打闹闹，经历一系列趣事后终于来到了梦寐以求的青州城。蒜泥的妖力、若水的身世、同行伙伴的真实目的逐渐浮出水面……。两位医生继续携手为一个个创造完美外貌的整容手术操刀；与此同时，美丽神秘的'生活指导' Ava Moore（Famke Janssen）使主角们的生活变得更加混乱；而一个残忍的割脸狂魔的出现更是威胁到了他们的生命。。Sophia Loren stars as Phaedra, a poor sponge diver on the lovely Greek isle of Hydra.
