第一部利用微缩科技深入人体拍摄的科幻片，也是《惊异大奇航》的前身。故事描述一名苏联科学家从银幕逃到美国，因为他的脑血管遭到间谍破坏而命在旦夕。五名美国医生乃被缩小成几百万分之一置于胶片中，注射进科学家体内进行血管手术。本片构想新颖，为科幻片题材开创了新天地。人体内部景观的映象效果不乏取材性，可惜六十年代的电影特技仍未够高明，今天看来不免使观众对于某些布景感到可笑，不过并不影响本片丰富的娱乐性。导演理查德．弗莱尔叙事流畅，曾获最佳艺术指导和最佳视觉效果两项金像奖。。A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。
