Instead, they accidentally turn onto a never-ending, two-lane hellscape surrounded by untold horrors and cosmic forces beyond their understanding. Cramped together inside a Jeep Cherokee and with the miles stretching infinitely ahead, they face a choice...。十九世纪六十年代末，英法联军侵占胶东，乡勇管大田率众反抗遭镇压。多年后，儿子管粮、管水长大成人，替父报仇不成反被官府通缉，无奈走上闯关东之路。有爱国之心的县令蒋仕达被贬流放，临行前嘱咐女儿雪竹去关东找义父张怀远。管粮和管水来到关东黄金山炮台干活，管粮的聪慧很得总办张怀远赏识。远在家乡的管母与管缨因受牵连也离开村子，途中管母去世，管缨也开始了闯关东之路，后来，她结识绿林豪杰韩老大，二人结为秦晋之好。为躲避捕快缉拿，管粮管水在张怀远帮助下逃离黄金山，在深山老林里，他们遇到了淘金的鄂伦春人，从此，他们开始了在老金沟的淘金生涯......。
