故事发生在1944年，战争使少年吕西安（皮埃尔·布莱士 Pierre Blaise 饰）失去了父亲，和母亲相依为命的他想要加入反抗军，却因为年龄太小而被拒绝了。一次意外中，吕西安被德国警察抓住了，没过多久，他就加入了盖世太保。吕西安结识了名叫弗兰斯（奥萝尔·克莱芒 Au rore Clément 饰）的美丽女子，对其一见倾心，遂展开了热烈的追求。
